Day 20
Just a quick snap from my car this morning. On my way to go pick up my baby girl.

Northern Michigan Photographer {Carrie Novak Photography}
Project 365
Day 19
My last day of three in my study of the snowflakes. I could really just sit outside and shoot these little cuties forever. I took a sled out and propped it up to catch the flakes. I liked the red background...it looks pink from different angles. Fun! :)

Snowflake Study {Northern Michigan Photographer}
Days 17 & 18
I had so much fun watching these little guys land. They are so beautiful and unique.
Day 17 on the back deck...
Day 18...on my reflector bag, the only thing I could find that was black.
And a couple photos of the little guys falling!

Michigan Photographer - Carrie Novak Photography {365 day 11}
day 11
Seriously fridgidly crisp out this morning at a whopping -15 degrees F.
The last photo I took on my way in the house - took the camera, pointed it over my shoulder behind me and snapped it. Kinda cool :)
Another inspiring photographer that I am awed by is the lovable and fabulous Trudy Pettit. Find her here on facebook. Go admire her work...she deserves it <3

Day 9
It was quite cold and dark this morning. I felt that black and white would help to illustrate the chill in the air. I had 2 tag-a-longs on my photowalk today! YAY!
As I stood on the top of our "castle" I directed them to put their arms out and spin...yeah, that's about it. We all got cold and went in after that. :)
Today I want to boast about another Flickr Friend of mine that has been a ridiculous amount of help to me along my path as a professional photographer. He is very talented and is very generous sharing his knowledge with me as well as constructive criticism. Go check him out ryandavisphotography.com

Day 7
BRRRRRRR! It was below zero this morning on my photowalk. And just when I was about to give up on taking anything other than a dreaded 'snapshot' I walked into the woods and looked up. Ahhhhhh...now that is different than the other day's photos. And I finished up my walk with a frozen smile on my face :)

Project 365 Day 6 - January Mornings {Carrie Novak Photography}
Good Morning Michigan's Upper Peninsula!
Day 6
Without my little one to wake me up this morning I got a later start :(
Decided to use the Lensbaby today for a different perspective.
